Make a printable folded desk nameplate

Nameplate Studio is a free desk nameplate maker for meetings, classrooms, and events. Start with a template, add a name and number, and export a PNG to print and fold.

How to make and print your nameplate

  1. Choose Classic, Navy & Gold, Coral Pop, or Forest for a ready-made design. Choose Blank to start from an empty card.
  2. Select the Name or Number layer to edit its text. Adjust fonts, colors, outlines, and position. You can also add an image or upload a font.
  3. Use 3D preview to check the folded card. Download PNG exports the full card, including both name panels, rather than a screenshot of the editor.
  4. Print the exported PNG at a size that fits your paper. Keep both panels on the same sheet, trim the outer edge, and fold between the two mirrored panels. Test one card before printing a batch.

Example: nameplates for a meeting

For three attendees, put their names and seat numbers in a spreadsheet. The first row contains column names; each following row becomes one card.

Create a batch from CSV or Excel

Classic includes both Name and Number layers. Other designs include a Name layer; add a text layer if you need a number. Open Batch export, import your spreadsheet, and bind the text layers to matching columns. Check the first card, then download a ZIP containing one PNG per row. Keep text within the card boundaries.

Before you print

What does the tool export?
A single card downloads as PNG. Batch export downloads a ZIP of PNG files. The editor supports different card ratios and custom pixel dimensions; it does not generate a PDF or set a physical paper size.
Are my files uploaded?
Names, uploaded images, fonts, and spreadsheets are processed in your browser. These files are not uploaded to a server. The site and font resources can still use an internet connection.
Will my design be saved?
Switching between English and Chinese keeps your current design. Reloading or leaving the page clears the design, so download your cards before you close it.
